Compatibility Matrix
Below is the latest compatibility matrix for Inhealthcare's products and is updated as required prior to a development release.
Intended Use
Intended use/purpose in alignment with Instructions for use (IFU)
The intended use of the Inhealthcare Professional application is to store clinical data submitted by patients for providers and healthcare professionals, to allow for remote monitoring of patient health without the need for face to face consultation.
The purpose of the Inhealthcare Professional application is to allow providers to collect the data that a healthcare professional would normally collect during a clinical assessment.
This information is entered into a form on the Inhealthcare Professional application and shared with the healthcare professional. The data is not altered in any way. Results from the applications are sent to the Inhealthcare platform where clinicians set thresholds for each individual patient which will determine whether to raise an alert for review. This allows healthcare professionals to centralise their operations and only see patients/citizens/end users which require their assistance. This drives efficiency and allows staff to make an informed decision about patients and their health.
The Inhealthcare software engine and Professional Facing App is provided as a service for customers / providers such as the NHS. Customers / Providers utilise the Inhealthcare Platform to develop pathways which are deployed in healthcare settings. The customer / provider is responsible for the governance elements of the pathways developed, including testing prior to release. Inhealthcare provide a sand pit platform to support testing of any pathways that are developed prior to deployment.
The Inhealthcare Professional application was initially developed from a requirement for care homes staff to be able to gather data from their residents on the move. Prior to the development of the application, staff would capture information using paper and transcribe this information into the Inhealthcare platform directly. The application was developed to provide staff with this freedom to capture information on the go, saving time and also to avoid any transcription errors which may occur.
Core Functionality
The core functionality of the Inhealthcare Professional application is to present user clinical information to a healthcare professional allowing decisions regarding care to be made remotely. The forms that the user complete on the My Inhealthcare App are saved on the application and once completed are sent to the central Inhealthcare platform where they are made available to healthcare professionals.
Scope / Clinical Performance Characteristics
The scope of use for the Inhealthcare Professional application is for care home staff and other providers to enter non-critical clinical information into forms on behalf of their users and for this information to be shared with healthcare professionals accessing the information via the Inhealthcare platform. Critically urgent clinical information is out of scope for this application.
The Inhealthcare Professional application is designed to support providers to develop clinical pathways and then monitor patients, using the software application, who have long term conditions such as Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD), Heart Failure and Diabetes but are otherwise healthy individuals and have no requirement for constant medical care in a hospital or nurse led facility.
The MyInhealthcare application does not directly assist with the decision-making process of a healthcare professional – any alerts generated by the devices are based on rules and thresholds previously entered by the healthcare professional. The device does not present direct clinical benefits to the patient and have only an indirect benefit, i.e., improving patient management through enhanced HCP workflow, allowing for more efficient patient care.
Target Population for Professional App
The target population for the Professional App are healthcare professionals with whom citizens / patients living within the UK require to share clinical information on a regular basis. End user for Professional App: Providers / Clinicians monitoring patients using the IHC Professional App.
Provider
Healthcare workers/organisations supporting citizens/patients. This may be classified as a Local Authority, Health & Social Care Partnership, CCG etc. There are no specific patient / user exclusions within the privacy policy for the applications. Each healthcare organisation may have their own exclusion criteria for patients.
